SCHOOL HOLIDAY PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOP
(ages 12-15 years)

When: Wednesday April 15th 2009 10am-12pm or 2pm-4pm

Where: Theatre Rehearsal Room,
Judith Wright Centre of Contemporary Arts

Cost: $25 per child ($40 per family of two children)

Clear the memory cards, charge the cameras, and hand them over to the kids!

This hands-on workshop involves the kids taking heaps of photos, and learning how to alter camera settings and composition to improve their images. Using this knowledge, they then get to break the “rules” of photography, and to finish off we add in a dose of photoshop for a truly creative session.

(Please ask the kids to bring in some images they think are cool – these could be photos they’ve taken themselves, or perhaps cut out of magazines, or off the web.)

It’s school holidays, so bring your camera (fully-charged), instruction book (if you can find it) and the kids (any and all ages welcome)! I will show you how to get the best out of your camera and your children, so you don’t miss out on the special moments that happen every day.
