Please be aware that our workshop venues are working photographic spaces with kitchen areas and fridges that may have products containing allergens. Please be aware that participants are permitted to bring food to our venues and whilst all care may be taken to ensure food does not come into contact with other participants it cannot be guaranteed.
fotografica tutors, and the venues where we hold our workshops, are not equipped to deal with allergic reactions. If your allergies are severe we ask you contact us so we can work together to ensure your safe participation in our workshops. We do, however, reserve the right to not accept your booking if your attendance will put you at significant risk. We take our responsibilities seriously and your safety is our main priority.
At the beginning of each workshop any potential safety hazards and issues associated with the venue will be identified and brought to each participant's attention by the tutor. This ensures each participant is fully informed of any risk associated with the workshop.
Some of our workshops require internet access and we provide wi-fi access to workshop participants. In the event of participants downloading inappropriate material, fotografica reserve the right to ask those participants to leave the workshop.
If the workshop is for children, fotografica reserve the right to contact parents and ask them to return to the workshop venue to collect their child/children if the behaviour of their child/children is deemed to put any tutors and/or participants at risk.
If children are participating in a workshop without parents present, parents will need to complete a signed permission form for their child/children to be allowed to leave the venue during breaks. This form will be available on arrival at the workshop.
At present our studio is not easily navigated by wheelchair, however please contact us to discuss your options as with some minor assistance our studio space can be accessed.
Auslan interpreters are welcome at all fotografica workshops. Please let us know as a courtesy so we can welcome your interpreter on arrival.
